    Unable to show external data getting error

    I am trying out the trial version to see if it can do what we need but so far it looks like it does not work with external data source.

    Hello Tareq,

    Have you tested the connection string and confirm that you can access this external database?

    Please add a connection string entry in your web.config with this same External Connection details, and save your web.config.

    Then go to Host -> SQL and selection your new Connection string and execute a simple query against your External database to confirm successful connectivity from your DNN site to your external database.

    If this is successful, we'll need to focus on Dynamic Views, which we'll then need access to your site to review your configuration settings of the Dynamic view.
