    Hi,
I was wondering if you can use tokens in SQL driven options. The manual is a little bit unclear regarding this issue.

For example: I have a table called MyTable with a id, title and username field. In my dynamic form I have a hidden field called Username that maps the Username DNN core value.

    My SQL looks like:

select title as QuestionOption, id as QuestionOptionValue from MyTable where username = '$(Username)'

This results in an empty result when testing the query. However the manual suggests this should work on page 76 with Select Text as QuestionOption, Text as QuestionOptionValue from YourTable where Language =
    '$(CurrentLanguage)'

    Regards,

    Tijn

Hi. Yes this will work but not when actually testing the query within the manage questions/settings area. Also, I believe that there are a few internal tokens that can be used seperate from hidden fields and I believe one of them is $(UserID) so you might consider that with your query... This way you don't even need the $(Username) field... You could have something like...

select title as QuestionOption, id as QuestionOptionValue from MyTable where username = (select UserName from Users where UserID= $(UserID))

Thanks Chad, the UserID ='$(UserId)' worked However it will only work as a string and not as an integer, it seems.

Is there a list of variables somewhere?
