DF 2.5 and Label Width

    The ability to span columns is excellent! The problem we are having now is with the label width or the width of the header or footer. They don't seem to flow with the span settings and there is no way to override the width of the label like there was in the previous version. Am I missing something obvious here?

    Jack,

    Hi. You should still be able to set the label column width in the module configuration, general settings area...

    Also... 2.5 will probably be released to everyone on Monday. Documentation is now finished and we are just workign on getting the package ready etc....

    Yes you can, but that impacts all label widths and buggers up everything.

    If you are spanning 6 columns and you need the label width for that specific filed to be "650" to it spans with the columns there seems to be no way to do that and I belive you could do that in the field settings in the previous version.

    Hi. No in previous settings you were only able to set the field width (which you are still able to) but not label cell width. Ill review this though, we have implemented some good examples of setting the col/row span where you don't need to specify the width any differently.... For example check out this demonstration:

    There does seem to be an issue when using a header. If you add a string of text in the header it will not wrap the text. Adding line returns is the only way to control the width.
