Chad, what is the distinction between Dynamic Registration and Dynamic Forms?

Also, does Dynamic User Director work only with Dynamic Registration or does it also work with Dynamic Forms?

    Thanks,

    Steve

There are lots of differences between Dynamic Registration and Dynamic Forms but for the most part the 'form builder' part of the module works the same way. Dynamic Forms has more options related to the purpose of form submission/completion and viewing the results of the form (i.e. exporting the results to excel etc...). The registration module has more integration with the dotnetnuke core fields for things such as region, localization, extended custom registration fields, language field, etc... Both modules have the events to redirect the user based on a response, distribute emails after submission, and in the latest release question events.

Other major differences is that form submissions are done one time, registration is something the user can always update. Because of this the difference between exporting to excel and the dynamic user directory have their own unique features. Also, you will be able to use Interactive User Import when its released (should be within the next two weeks, its already up under Products, DNN Modules, Interactive User Import but we are awaiting some additional testing).
