I have a test form on BetaSprings:  Dynamic Forms \ Jims Palmetto \ Fee Calculation.

In this form I am trying to override the field style for control Item1.

I have updated the style sheet and entered the new class name in the field style override setting.

However, the new class name is not being picked up.  When I view the source of the page, it is still showing the default Dynamic Forms style.

Can you tell me what I am doing wrong?

    Thanks

    Jim,

Hi. Ok apparently this is not taking affect if the field is set in read only mode. The easiest work around would be (for this instance only) to change the DynamicForms_DisabledTextBox stylesheet class to have the same properties as your JimItem1 stylesheet class.

I have corrected this for the next minor or major release. This disabled stylesheet class was being set for read only fields and wasn't checking to see about the override ability. If you need this sooner open a support ticket and we can get this for you.

OK, sorry for the bump, but is this still an issue?
I am unable to change the class on a hidden text field here: http://wasar2012.org/registration.aspx (last field)
I also tried for .dynamicforms_watermark and .DynamicForms_DisabledTextBox in the custom style sheet.
    Thanks
    Tim

    Hi Tim,

Yes I know that this was fixed, this was an issue that was a couple years old I believe. You might want to try and click "Control F5" or refresh your browser/cache if you updated the stylesheet and clicked save.

You might also want to view the HTML source and see what class names its using. I like to use the "Inspect" element within FireBug for FireFox.

    Thanks,

    Chad
