Has anyone got these working in version 2.5?

No matter what I try I just cant get them to work in the SQL statements for questions. I've seen that there have been issues in the past with this - but I'm using the latest version (2.5) so hopefully those issues are fixed.

I'm using an SQL statement such as...

SELECT  TOP 1 [Value] as DefaultValue
    FROM    [XX_Test].[dbo].[UserValues]
    WHERE   [UserID] = '$(svUserID)'

I know that the session values are being set, I can see them in another module and this works fine...

SELECT  TOP 1 [Value] as DefaultValue
    FROM    [XX_Test].[dbo].[UserValues]
    WHERE   [UserID] = '1001'

I've tried this both locally (localhost) and over the internet on a production server - both are the same. I've tried TextBoxes, Listboxes and ComboBoxes - no luck. I've tried with "Retrieve values from session variable for this question" and without. I've tried '$(svUserID)', $(svUserID), svUserID and @svUserID. I've spent the best part of two days reading the forums and trying all the ideas.

I'm now out of ideas ... and I'm desperate to get this working!

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks, Bret
