I have used the dynamic registration successfully and collected some information only to find that I did not properly link the dynamic fields to the DNN Core membership data.

It was on a list of "things to do" but got put on the back burner.  Fast forward to now and I need to update my Core DNN membership information with the data collected in my dynamic registration.  Is there a way I can export my dynamic registrants and import them in or sync the two so its correct moving forward? 

if not, I have to either write the SQL statements or enter by hand- HELP?

Hi. Well you can do this but you would have to use SQL queries for each field/profile property that you would want to move over. What we typically do for clients (for paid development hours) is...

1. Find each profile property definitionID, you can do this by viewing the data into the profile property.

Select top 10 * FROM [dbo].[profilepropertydefinition]

Keep a handy list of each profile property definitionID so that you know that profile property ID '33' goes with postal code and so forth etc...

2. Get the question responses for each field. This query below shows the responses based on the short field name:

Select * from DynamicRegistration_QuestionResponse
Where DynamicQuestionID In (Select DynamicQuestionID from DynamicRegistration_Question where ShortFieldName = 'Email')

3. We would then typically delete all profile properties from the current userprofiletable for each profile property definition that was  already linked.

Delete from UserProfile
Where ProfilePropertyDefinitionID = 'YourPropertyID'

4. Use an insert statement such as this:

Insert Into UserProfile(UserID, PropertyDefinitionID, PropertyValue)
Select UserID, '33', Response from DynamicRegistration_QuestionResponse
Where DynamicQuestionID In (Select DynamicQuestionID from DynamicRegistration_Question where ShortFieldName = 'Email')

This demonstrates a property definitionID of 33 if it matched with a short field name on Dynamic Registration of 'Email'. etc... You would need to do this for each profile property definition that was never linked originally.
