Hey Chad (or anyone that can help me),

I am trying to do a Dynamic SQL Event as a form completion event for my form.  I have created a form with a first name field and a last name field.  Their short names are Fname and Lname.

In my database I created a table called DynamicFormsTestForm and in it I created 2 columns called "FirstName" and "LastName".

I then created a Dynamic SQL event (named InserttoTemp) to fire off on "Any Field Response".  The SQL Statement is as follows.

    Insert Into DynamicFormsTestForm(LastName, FirstName) Values ('$(Lname)', '$(Fname)')

No matter what I do, I do not get any errors nor do I get any data in my table.  I have checked permissions and everything imaginable.  Am I missing something?  Please help.  I really need this to work.  Thanks!

FYI...I am using version 02.20.10. In further reading I have discovered that there might be a bug in this version. I bought DF through the DNN marketplace. How do I obtain the new version?...if in fact, that is the problem.

The problem was in fact that that I was using an older version and it had some bugs with the Dynamic SQL event. I upgraded to 2.5 and all problems are gone. Thanks Chad!!
