Creating a field response that will hide & not require Credit Card field

    I'm trying to setup a "Heard about us from:" field where some responses will trigger the Credit Card info (thru Authorize.net integration) to not be required for submission. Basically we're waiving an application fee if they heard about us through certain channels.

    I set up a question completion response to hide all the payment fields, but it is still requiring the Credit Card number to submit. Is there a better way to do this or something I"m missing to make this happen.

    (My Heard about us field is a drop down. I'm currently on vs2.5, but looking at updating to 2.6. And, I'm on DNN 4.08.02

    Hi Brian,

     

    I would recommend having an initial form where the "heard about us field" is displayed then direct the user to another form depending on their answer. At this point, the payment gateway can only be either on or off so a separate form will be the best solution. We do have this on the list of future enhancements tentatively scheduled for an August/September release. If you need a solution sooner, we have premium support hours which can be used for custom development. Let us know if you have additional questions. Thanks.
