I have totally spaced on this, and I have gone through the instruction manual but can't find it.
I have set up an easy Contact Form and I want my users ONLY to have to fill out their First Name, Last Name and Email Address. I want the other fields (Username & Password) to be automatic created by the system. How do I set this up?
Thanks...

Hi. This is setup under DNN Core Integration, Advanced Integration options, and then select to automatically generate the DotNetNuke UserID and password. From then you can select the options (i.e. generate it as first initial last name, first name and last name, etc...). You will have options for auto generating the passwords there too.
One you enable this feature Dynamic Registration will automatically hide the username and password/confirm password fields upon initially registering. After the user has registered the fields will no longer be hidden.

Any way to have it just generate the password automatically? |

Hi. Not at this time, right not the feature is for username and password and not either/or but we will add this to review. I can see that it would be useful in some cases.

Yes, we are checking the wording on this. This should be a feature under DNN Core Integration, Advanced Integration Options, and then auto generate username and password. From what I see right now though you can only create it from other parameters such as first name, last name, first initial last name, etc... This will be reviewed and added before the next release.
