Validatinga question with SQL query

    Hi,

    Im having the following problem i have a question in my registration form that i need to validate it. Because the validation is complex i can't do it using a regular expression so i have done it with an sql scalar function.

    What i want is to be able to check the field value with the sql function and if its wrong to inform the user and stop the registration. But the only option ot use sql (so i can call the function and pass the questions value) is using the completion event option. But that means that no matter what the sql returns tha user will be already registered. So if the validation fails i must delete all the instances of the new user in the database , also this does not give me a means to inform the user

    Anyone knows any way to achieve what i want ?
