Currently, when adding options to a multi choice question (e.g. Combobox or Listbox), if you select an option it highlights it in blue. When a user is viewing the form, the highlighted option is selected by default. Is there a way to deselect the highlighted option when adding option values? Users when adding options have a tendency to select one of the added options and they don't realize that option will be selected by default. Ideas?

Hi. Yes in the current release its not possible for certain field types to not have an update (dropdownlist and then radio buttons if you select one). There are a few ways around this, one way is to make your first option (and the default) be either blank something like ' < Select Item > '. You can also manually update the default value for this field in the database. In upcoming version 2.7 release (you can test this on www.betasprings.com by logging in as host with a password of dnnhost) you can now choose 'No default' checkbox for the default value and this will never set a default value for the field.
