I have a entry form that has a few fields. And I wanted them to align in this manner, Is this possible I cannot figure it out.

First Name ___________ Last Name _____________

Address      __________________________________

City/State/Zip ____________  _______ ____________

Phone          ________________

Seems very simple, I have spent hours trying to do something simple. Some please help..

I did try that but the problem is with the tables. Here is am example of what happens.

First Name   __________________        Last Name __________

City State Zip____________                   *                      ___________

It appears that  I will end up with at table with 2 rows and 4 cols. Row 1 and 3 are for labels even if I do not show them. So when I try to put the state field close to the city it still leaves room for the label even though it is not there. I also tryed to do a colspan of 3 to move it over but nothing works. There is always a huge space. This also causes a problem with validation. The * error symbol is always at the end of the longes field. So if I have two rows and in the first col there is the label and the second col there is the field of 300px. If on the second row I have a field of 60px and error occurs, the * will show on the right line but at 301. I would like it right next to the field.

Instead of using the * error symbol, you might be able to use error statements.  Please look at the Required Checkbox and Dropdown page over at betasprings.com (use host / dnnhost to log in).  Try hitting submit with all fields blank and see the error messages.  Also check out the ReadMe at the bottom of the form.  Will this help you in your application?
