    I am running DNN 4.08.04 with Dynamic Forms 02.50.30.

    I am trying to fill a default value using an SQL query with a commandline (url) parameter, like this:

    select name as DefaultValue from dealers where id=$(bid)

    But the bid value is not passed to the query. It is shown in the webform but not passed to the query.

    How can I use this url-parameter in the SQL query?

    Hans

    Hi. Yes there are some security issues with the querystring solution you are trying to implement here. We did add features to the 2.6 release to allow for querystring, but they have to be specifically named.

    You can review this thread here.

    SQL Parameter from Querystring

    And this thread:
    SQL Parameter from Querystring

    I believe this requires the 2.6 release though.

    This works!

    using this:

    Default.aspx?DSParam1=100016

    And I upgraded to version 2.6
