    Hi,

    I am not able to send the mail. when i try to send the newsletter i get the following error in the event viewer

    I changed the host settings to the gmail account

    SMTPserver: smtp.gmail.com:465

    Checked the enable ssl

    gave the username and password

    and now tried to send the newsletter with the virus scan disabled and i got the following error in the event viewer and mail was not sent

    Hi. Please submit a support ticket for this, we had to create a patch for users using GMAIL as their email provider and also with SSL.

    I found the problem and fixed it.
    The problem was in the SMTP server name
    I gave it as smtp.gmail.com:465
    and changed to smtp.googlemail.com and it worked.
