I need a way to let users upload a delimited text file with a pre-defiled format, and have the system parse and insert the data into a database table.  Is there a way to do this with Dynamic Forms/stored proc?

    Thanks.

    Tom,

Hi. I do not know of a direct way for Dynamic Forms to do this. What you could do is possibly save the file, then use a SQL completion event to pass the filename to the database. Something like stp_executeandopenfile '$(YourShortFileFieldName)' etc...

From there all logic would have to be setup to open the file via TSQL and perform any type of cursor/loop and manage your data there. I would first make sure to get this working where you can use it just under Host, SQL or under the query analyzer, then once you have it working move it to a SQL event within Dynamic Forms.
