    Hello!

     

    When creating a Form Completion Event with Dynamic Email you are presented with a box for the "From Email Address".  I want to put $(UserEmail) into that box, but it does not work.  No error is generated but the email just does not show up - even though $(UserEmail) does resolve into a valid email address.   Is this by design or is this something that can be fixed?  We are using Dynamic forms on our Intranet site and this feature would be nice.

    Hi. Yes this has been updated in the most recent patch on Snowcovered. I am going to send you a copy of the 2.2 build with the patch though. This should fix the issue up.

    I've just upgraded from v02.10.10 to v02.20.30 specifically for this feature, and I'm having the same trouble as Paul. The form is submitted, but no email is sent.

    The problem was solved when they sent me a link to the latest build.  That new build worked fine.

    Hi think i may have the same problem running on dnn6 now, ive checked on snow covered but cant find a patch were running 3.40.20 on enterprise and 4.4.0 is showing as available, please advise

    found 3.40.50 on snow covered, still having the same problems sending mail tho, testes the smtp server test settings and thats fine for the addresses, but nothing sent on submission, deleted the module and trying from scratch.

    Hi 4site,

    Yes, we had email issues in DNN 5.6.1 which were fixed with DNN 5.6.2. We're finding that the same problem has popped up with the release of DNN 6.0. This has been reported to DNN Corp and they are looking into it.

    Meanwhile, please try deleting the Email From Name from your completion event and try submitting the form again. Thanks!
