Ok I did away with my DNN 5 install and reverted back to 4.9.2 and still getting errors except this time its when the page loads I get The Source element with id dnn$ctr$DynamicForms$imgMove_.... does  not exist.

I have uninstalled the module, installed the module and still not working for me.

Any suggestions how to resolve this?

    Hi Duane
We've managed to duplicate your problem with Internet Explorer version 8 beta. However, when we use Internet Explorer 7 and Mozilla Firefox 3.0.5, the drag drop feature works fine without any issues. Can you check the following?

    1) what version of Internet Explorer you are running or are you running Safari?
    2) what version of Dynamic Forms are you running?

I am using IE8 R1 and 2.7 Dynamic Forms. Like you said it works with Firefox.

    Hi

I'm reviewing the trial version and I get this error on IE7 DNN 4.5.1.

Is there a fix for this?  Is it an issue in the pay version?

    Cheers

    Keith.

Keith, it should work with IE7. Can you try clearing your IE temp files, delete the page, create a new page and import the Dynamic Forms module to see if this will clear the issue. --David

In reading this, it looks like it doesn't work with IE 8. I am using the production version and I am getting this error.

The source element with id dnn$ctr430$DynamicForms$imgMove_ceal156c1-ca14-4401-8285-3685-368a2837ead1 does not exist

HI Michael, for now, you will need to disable the drag drop feature of Dynamic Forms under Module Configuration / General Settings and it will clear the error when in IE 8. -- David

Curiously I have just started to receive this error, never had it before.

Can you tell me if this has been fixed, or do I need to turn off the drag and drop to make it work in IE8?

(also can any kind person tell me how to find the Module configuration option?)
    Thanks in advance.

    Hello Rob,

The Module Configuration is one of 4 menu options available in Dynamic Forms. When you're logged in as a user that has editing rights to Dynamic Forms you will always see 4 menu icons and the second one from the left is Module Configuration.

Then you can get to the expandable menu "General Settings" and disable drag and drop to see if that is the issue.

If you have any questions please let me know.

    Thanks,

    Ryan
