    I've been reading about the checkbox group and how to calculate the value of the chosen checkbox and I'm close, but can't make it work. I imported the form to BetaSprings here. And would like someone to take a look at it. I want the Delivery Cost textbox to show the value of the Delivery Options checkbox chosen. I'm missing something somewhere. Thanks in advance. - Mark

    Mark, quick question. Shouldn't you be using the Combobox option for the "Delivery Options" as opposed to the checkbox group field? The checkbox group means you can click on multiple checkboxes and it doesn't make sense for your "Delivery Cost" to be chosen for multiple mileage from church. You should check out Forms Demo 20 on using "combobox" to calculate the total for items since in a "combox", you can only choose one item. I think this is what you want to achieve.  -- David

    David, you are right. I want the choices to be mutually exclusive. I prefer the list box this time so the user can see all the choices without dropping open the combo. I'm looking for how to grab the value of the list box choice now...

    This is very simple. For your listbox, configure the following:
    Update Option Text: No delivery (or anything text you want to type in)
    Update Option Value: 0.00

    Update Option Text: < 5 miles from church
    Update Option Value: 10.00

    Update Option Text: 5- 10 miles from church
    Update Option Value: 15.00

    Update Option Text: > 10 miles from church
    Update Option Value: 20.00

    Under client side event for this listbox:
    $(Total) = $(listbox)
