I have a question with three possible values: None, GroupLeader, GroupParticipant being used for a registration to get group information while requiring Parents to register their children. Parents will normally go to the event with their children but may choose to organize a group with one parent in charge. We want the parent to designate the group leader or the group leader to let us know who will be in their group.
I can do this with multiple events (five) but if I could do it with a client script, I could use the values to hide or show without an event. This is much quicker, cuts down on a server turnaround and seems the best way to do this. Unfortunately, the dynamic forms questions do not have a predictable name for use as an HTMLSHOW or HTMLHIDE.
Is there a way to know the name of the group of fields which comprise a question? If not, could you add an optional name which could be used to designate the name of the field in a future version?
