    Hi guys,

Im trying to get it so that when a user registers with the dynamic registration module it will add the firstname, lastname and email into the user list in the 'Opt in Email' module.

-I have run the sql script to fix the initial bug in dynamic registration.

-I have added a check box called 'subscribe to newsletter'

-In the dynamic registration settings I go to 'Opt In Settings / Integration' and chose the appropriates.

    - When I save changes and return to the 'Opt In Settings / Integration' section the values I selected have change back to the defaults.

Any Ideas on what might fix this problem would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.

Just to clarify when you date 'update settings'...

In order to specify that you would like the Dynamic Registration checkbox as the integration option with the particular opt in email category you will need to click ont the link - "Update Opt In/Dynamic Field". This configuration is saved here and not actually in the update settings so if you forget to click that link after specifying which dynamic field represents the opt in email field this would cause an issue.

I found where my problem was. I ran the script which originally returned errors. The second time I added the database prefix and there were no errors. However when looking through the stored procedures in sql server i found that the database prefix was missing in a few places.

I changed that and it works fine now.

I had some checkboxes for Opt-In Email lists on my Dynamic Reg Form w/ Opt In Email Integration which were not updating and it kept adding a new entry to the Opt-In subscribers each time that I hit Register/Update - even if the email address was already existing. When I returned to the Update Form it would show unchecked boxes even if I had updated them.

Based on this Forum thread, I went looking at the Stored Procedures in the database and found one called csi_DynamicRegistration_GetOptInEmailByEmailAddress. I am obviously using an object qualifier, and for this stored procedure, the object qualifier was missing from the query on another table. I added it and it fixed me right up. I just wanted to let DataSprings know it so that they fix the bug in the future and just in case anyone has the same dilemma.
