Required fields not showing as "Required"

    2.4 on 4.3.7. When setting validation to a required field there is now way for the user to tell a field is required prior to submitting. The "Required Text" never shows. After submission the "Required Field Error" does show.

    Jack, what browser are you using and also what do you have specified under general settings for 'Client side validation' and 'Server side validation' options? If you are running on Firefox there are some specific steps you need to take to ensure your DotNetNuke site works with Firefox and ASP.NET validation controls (we have some documentation on these steps on the forums as well but just wanted to double check if thats the issue or its a different one).

    Both server side and client side validatioon is enabled. The problem exists in both IE and FF

    I am having this issue. I could not seem to find a resolution in the forums, if you have already answered this, please post the forum URL.

    I do not see the indication that a field is required even though the settings say it is and I have added text for the 'Required Field Text'. This is an issue in IE8 (with and without compatibility turned on), FF, and Chrome. One thing to note is the skin runs in 'Standards compliance mode'. I have seen this cause issues in other modules.
