Have come across a rather unique problem that I was hoping  could use Dynamic Registration to overcome. 

A clients website has been using Dynamic Registration for some time to allow customers to register with them.  Recently, circumstances have changed and one particular user now has to have the facility to add a new user to their website whilst they are logged in.  The users will no have administrators pirivilages, so will not have access to the DNN "User Accounts" module.

Is it possible to set up Dynamic Registration to allow a user to make new user accounts, whilst they are logged in?

HI Darren, this is possible. Under DR Module Configuration, traverse to "Module Security" and you can set "Authorize to Manage Users" and choose a "role" that can do this. Please see picture below.

I would like to be able to do exactly the same thing and have selected the respective role in the module security settings section but when logged in the user just sees their own profile details.

How do we set it up so that they can add a new user?

EDIT: OK I think I have found the answer to this an another post. However, when the user clicks on the manage users link from the module menu and it takes them to the list of users so that they can add a new user they also have the ability to edit and delete all the other users, even users setup for other roles. Is there a way we can limit them to users belonging to a certain role?

Edit:  Yes, this will be a feature in the upcoming Dynamic Registration 4.0.... 

Looking at the Module Security section, you'll find Conditions beside the 'Authorized to Manage Users.'   This basically works by saying this role can manage users if the user has a matching response to a field.  So if a radio button field is used to assign different roles, they can only manage users with the same response.  This role can be in addition to the 'Manage Users' role. Dynamic Registration 4.0  is scheduled for end of October, definitely before the OpenForce 09 conference.  Based on our Upgrade Policy, you should be eligible for a free upgrade as it will released within 90 days.
