    HI, the shortname for it should be DPFormat; if you look at the Module Configuration / Custom Javascript file, the code for this "alternate format" date picker in Section 3 is:

    jQuery($(DPFormat_#FieldID)).datepicker({dateFormat: "DD, d MM, yy"});

    I hope this answers your question. Are you able to export the content of this form onto so you can play with it on your own system? -- David

    Hi, Please give me more detail of the instruction, e.g what field type do I need to add (noremal textbox or need to have date field), also, we need two dates in the form, can we still implement it?

    Also where can I export this form on your website?

    HI, it is a textbox field with the special shortname of "DPFormat". Yes, you can have multiple dates in the form; I suppose by creating two textbox datefields with different shortname that you include in the javascript section.
    If you want the XML content of the page, shoot me an email (listed on that page at the bottom) and I'll send you the XML content. -- David

    Hello, I'm trying to implement the following date picker from section 3 with very little knowledge of jquery and it is not working for me:

    jQuery($(DPMonthYear_#FieldID)).datepicker({
    changeMonth: true,
    changeYear: true
    });

    I have pasted the above code into the Module Configuration - Custom Javascript File section and have created a textbox with a shortname of DPMonthYear. I've also added 'var nothing' (w/o the single quotes) in the client side event section of the text field. I've downloaded the jquery package and moved it to my portal root.

    What else do I need to do to get this to work?

    Hi Doug,

    Well all of your steps sound correct so I guess the next step would be:
    1. Enable DEBUG Info and copy/paste the initial JavaScript that it shows its using.
    2. Install Fire Bug for FireFox and enable the 'Console' feature. This should highlight the exact error that is coming up and let us know more about why its not working. My guess is somehow the JS files have not been added properly because your other steps do sound correct. It might also depend on what specific version of Dynamic Forms you are running on though.

    Thanks!

    -Chad
