    Hi,

    I've recently updated Dynamic Forms from 2.7 to 3.0. Since then I have several problems with certain functions. To name a few:
    *HTML text boxes will only save in raw text mode
    *New HTML text boxes need a refresh of the editor before you can add or alter new text.
    *Selecting the Dynamic SQL Statement option in the Form completion events only shows half of the 'help' text above the SQL parameters. and thus the  'Generate SQL table' queries to create, insert, update and delete are missing.

    I've a dozen Dynamic Forms on my site and don't want to take the risk of making things worse by re-installing 3.0. But could this the best way to try to solve those problems?

    HI, you can turn of AJAX under Module Configuration to allow HTML text boxes (Rich text editor) to save properly. As for the "Generate SQL table" help link, I know it's a problem under IE 8 but should work fine under Firefox / Chrome or even IE 7. Can you try one of these browsers instead? -- David

    Hi David,
    Thanks for your quick reply.
    Indeed the "generate SQL table links" work in the other browsers.So that's 'solved'.
    AJAX and jQuery are allready turned of, but still the HTML problem remains. Any other ideas I could try?

    Hi, what version of DNN are you running? Also, under Host / Host Settings / Jquery Settings?

    Is this a site we can have host access to check out? IF so, use the "Contact Us" and send us the login info and URL / tabid. Also reference this forum. -- David

    The site is using DNN version 04.08.02 .Unfortunately I can't give you Host access. 
    Also, after editing and saving the text in the HTML box it shows one font type in the page Edit mode, but changes to another font type in the page view mode?

    Hi David, thanks for your reply.

    First, in the heading it says 'Update 3.0 problems' but I am using Dynamic Forms 03.10.01

    I also found out that the radiobutton- editing won't get saved. Changing from a horizontal to vertical layout or the other way around doesn't show after saving.

    Updating to DNN 5+ is currently not an option as some other models won't  be working anymore.

    Does this imply that this version of the Dynamic Form model doesn't work properly when using the 4.8 DNN version? I'm sure I am not the only one using this ''old" DNN version, but am I the only one with these problems?
    Is there anything else that can/needs to be changed in the Host settings that could cause the problems?
    Or...
    Is updating to DNN 4.9 make a difference? Or is going back to Dynamic Forms 2.7 the only solution?

    Hi David,
    I've set up a dynamic forms module on my website that shows the problems. I've sent you the login password for host, together with link of my website and reference to this forum URL via 'contact us' twice. (2 weeks ago and a few days ago). Because I haven't heared back from you I'm not sure now if you have received those messages. Please let me know if you have or that I need to send them again.
