    Hi,

    I have added a Richh Text field to capture the "message" part of a Feedback Form.

    It is displaying the form corerctly with full FCK Editor Controls.

    I have a concern and a couple of questions

    1. Even Unauthenticated Users are able to click the "Insert Image" button and browse the images on the portal root. Probably, they may be able to browse all the files also. How to restrict access to these images and files based on the role please? (especially for anonymous / unauthenticated users)

    2. Is there a way to limit the number of Editing Controls (Menu Icons) on the FCK Editor for a given instance?

    3. Is there a way to allow selected roles to view the submitted messages (Form submissions / results) without giving Full Editing Rights of the Module?

    Hi, if you click on the "Show Custom Editor Options", you have the option to customize the Rich Text Editor. There's a section on "Editor toolbar view options" and you could disable certain toolbar based on "Roles" and apply the settings to an instance or module or portal. Play around with these settings and see which ones will work for you. -- David

    Hi David,

    Thank you. I tried to use that link. Though I changed some settings, they are not effective on the module instance. if you have any demo on your site, pl. point me there. I will keep trying

    Can you try it on a portal instance instead and see if this will work? I recall a while back working with another customer where the "module instance" doesn't work but the "portal instance" does. -- David
