Can anyone provide information on how to set the file upload limit on a form and also the restriction on file types (if at all possible).

We're have one form which is a simple contact us form with the ability to have a file uploaded. This is then emailed to the client with the file attached to the email.

We need to ensure that only certain files get uploaded e.g word, excel etc and that they do not exceed 10MB so not to bounceback due to email limitations at the client end.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

HI, this is all controlled using DNN. For valid filetypes, please go to Host / Host Settings and travserse to Other Settings and see the option "Allowable File Extensions:". This is where you place the valid extensions in.

As for the maximum size of file uploads, you need to specify this in your web.config file.
