    Hi,
    I'm having another go at using the HTTP Post option and I just can't make it work.

    It's a simple Post action that subscribes email addresses to Onyak's Axon newsletter module.

    Axon provides two methods that both work perfectly when I use them in an HTML module or inserted as an HTML form, in Gumbo's script injector.

    It works via a URL like this
    http://www.mydomain.com/DesktopModu...domain.com

    Or by using a form like this

    <form method="POST" name="Axon" Form action="http://www.mydomain.com/DesktopModules/OnyakTech.Axon/SubscribeService.aspx" >
    <p>First Name <input type="text" name="FirstName" size="20">p>
    <p>Last Name <input type="text" name="LastName" size="20">p>
    <p>Email Address <input type="text" name="Email" size="20">p>
    <p><input type="submit" value="Submit" name="B1"><input type="reset" value="Reset" name="B2">p>
    <input type="hidden" name="CampaignID" value="xxxxxxxxx">
    <input type="hidden" name="RedirectURL" value="http://www.mydomain.com">
    <input type="hidden" name="DoubleOptIn" value="False">
    form>

    I shuold be able to post to the URL using Dynamic Forms, but I've tried everything I can think of.

    I would expect to use the form action URL as the HTTP Post URL. And then I would expect to be able to insert the rest of the URL in the Post field, modified to suit: FirstName=***&LastName=***&Email=***&CampaignID=xxxxxxxxxx&DoubleOptIn=False&RedirectURL=http://mydomain.com

    It should be as simple as that, but it doesn't work.

    Even without inserting any real values, the methods work fine when I use them outside of Dynamic Forms, but it just doesn't to work inside. There are no errors logged anywhere.

    What's the trick for making this work?
    I'm using DynamicForms_Module33_61 on DNN 5.4.4
    Thanks for any advice on this.

    Regards
    Rob

    Thanks for the reply David.

    The items are exactly like posted above - apart fromt the domain name and the specific values being obfuscated. Even so, the obfuscated values will also work. Axon will accept them.

    Now for the good news. I went back just now to take a screenshot of the settings, and for some reason it has all started working. I spent hours yesterday on this... leave it over night, and it starts working... go figure.

    The only difference might have been an app restart during the night. I'll make sure I wait an extra day next time!

    Excellent.. this is all going to work now.
    Regards
    Rob
