I added a new style for an indented version of the regular text... but the indent only shows up when I look at the form in the DNN edit mode.  As soon as I change that to View or look at the form in another browser where I'm not logged in, there is no indent to the field label.  I tried multiple settings within Dynamic Forms (word wrap, column span, shortened the text of the question) in case one of them was interfering, but nothing has worked.  I also just changed that style to a different color, to ensure that it was in fact using my new style (set using the override within the field settings) and it is picking up the style but not the color either... as if it is only using certain attributes of the style.

Can anyone help me out on this?  I confirmed by viewing the page source that the label is using my new style (the class was set to my style)... Thanks!

    Hello Cheryl,

Can you please let me know what DNN version and Dynamic Forms version you're running?

I find this very strange that only in Edit mode this style gets applied.

Does this happen in all browsers? Like Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Google Chrome?

Do you have any custom skins on your site that your using on this page?

If you have any questions please let me know.

    Thanks,

    Ryan

    Hello Cheryl,

If you view the source code of the page in edit mode and look for the CSS style you've added, can you find it?

If you view the source code of the page in View mode and look for the CSS style you've added, can you find it?

Also after you've applied the Styles that you want to place on a field label or question field, save your changes and when looking at the form hit CTRL  -> F5 and this should reload the page.

Please see the example I have provided:

If you have any questions please let me know.

    Thanks,

    Ryan

Yes, I see my style in the source of the page in both View and Edit modes... and I know that it's picking up the style since it shows some of the attributes of it (the color and size).  It's just not showing the indent unless I'm in Edit mode.

There is not too much we can do about this... This is because the HTML and table that is rendered when in edit mode has some unique table cells and properties that are specific to edit mode. So, if you have updated the stylesheet to affect the look of the form in edit mode, and these same features are not implemented in view mode, then the stylesheet classes will not be affected there. There are many examples of this but basically things such as the DNN Label Edit, Quick Edit, Quick Stats, Edit Icon, Move Icon, and so forth all create a unique look for the form and only in edit mode.
