    We are seeing the import function replacing question values with question labels.

    For instance, option [Mr.|2203] is becoming [Mr.|Mr.]

    We are attempting to build a function that will post form data to another program (a CRM). This program uses numeric IDs for values.  We decided to export the XML and update the questions all at once for this process. We changed a few online and the process was far too slow for the 80 values we had to change. After updating the XML, we deleted the old form and start fresh with the new XML. However, all values have been replaced with the labels for the questions/options - even those we change online before have been over written with the labels. 

    I believe this is a bug and the import function should follow explicitly the content of the XML file.

    Lance, when you say "question values with question labels." do you mean question option(s) and their text/value? Or do you actually mean the question labels directly?

    Your XML didn't show up correctly in the forums but I found out whats going on. Whenever options are initially added within Dynamic Forms they are added as text/value as the exact same, then the update procedure allows you to update the text and value. The Add Procedure needs to be modified I believe though because when its adding it back in from an import it should be adding both the text and the value. We have logged this as a bug and its on the list to fix for the next release. We will be releasing the full roadmap soon on whats coming up for the next release so ill make sure this is included on there.

    Thank you for tracking that down.

    Any hint when it could be fixed?

    I'm developing these forms on the dev server and hope to import them into the live server soon. The conversion to Dynamic Forms is required for a upgrade to DNN 4.6 as the old forms break. So, unfortunately this bug is holding up a number of processes. Not your fault but I feel a great deal of pressure. One week I can do, two and I will have to figure out another solution.
