I have 13 DF forms on my site, which seems to be responding well for all other pages... however, the forms pages can be slow to load and respond while completing.

Is this just an unavoidable side-effect of having long and complex forms?  I have seen some other threads that mention that forms with more fields and question events will definitely take longer to load.  One of my most "gnarly" forms is over 200 fields, with 32 question events and 6 form completion events.

I have tweaked the Performance Settings under Host Settings as I found in another thread.  Are there any other tips or tricks someone has for me?   This can be especially problematic on the question events since responses to further questions can be cleared out once the page finishes reloading/responding to the event.

Hoping for some good news, but not holding my breath. Thanks...

    Hello Cheryl,

I would recommend disabling AJAX on the forms that aren't using this feature it seems that sometimes.

You can go to Module Configuration -> AJAX / jQuery integration.

If you have any questions please let me know.

    Thanks,

    Ryan

All of my forms already have the "Disable AJAX within module configuration" box checked and "Form Processing / Submission AJAX" set to Disabled.

Any other tips I can try?

Thanks, Ryan. I had actually already read both of those forum posts when I was researching whether others had encountered the same issue (so at least you know I'm trying to do my homework before I bug everyone on the forums!).

I did make the host setting changes that Candace had referenced. My forms still seem pretty slow, which is why I asked if it's just a product of their length/complexity and the question events. The browser "thinks" for 5-6 seconds on each question event.
