    I have a Rich Text Box field on my form that is required. All of my other required fields get rejected on validation of they are empty, but this one does not. Do I need to validate a different way for a Rich Text Box besides checking the required checkbox?

    Hello MJ,

    When you go into the validation for this Rich Text Editor do you have a value in the Required Field Text and Required Field Error text box?? You need to have values in these sections, or else you'll get unexpected behaviors, such as validation getting passed when it should get caught.

    What DNN version are you running on?

    What Dynamic Forms version are you running on??

    I have a text value in the required field text box and a * in the required field error box.

    My DNN version is 05.06.00 and I'm currently evaluating the trial version of dynamic forms

    Edit: I just realized that the validation works properly if the field is bound from the database. When I bind the form for updating or deleting the record, the validation fires. What does that mean and how can I correct it?

    Would it be possible if you could go to our test environment and demonstrate the issue you're having?? This would help me understand the situation you're in and this will also help SUV.

    but here ir is working fine ... validation for the rich text editor is not working at all in our end !!

    Did you compare your settings in the MODULE CONFIGURATION | VALID CONFIGURATION on the betasprings site is the same as your settings of the page on the server that its not working on?

    Also, for the particular question in mind, please make sure in the MANAGE QUESTIONS | QUESTION VALIDATION, you have the REQUIRED FIELD enabled and REQUIRED FIELD and REQUIRED TEXT filled in.
