One of the tokens in the body of the dynamic email event is wrong. I change it to the correct token and click Update Event, then Update Settings. When I go back to check it, the old value is still there. Like it's not writing to the database.
If this problem rings a bell, please advise. If I can get access to the DB, what table would it be in to change it manually? Is it possible to run a SQL script in the Host menu to change it.
    Appreciate any advice.

    Hi Ken,
Can you verify something for me? Are you working with Opt In Email? Or, are you working with one of the other modules from DataSprings? Right now there isn't a Daynamic Email module. However, one thing that you do want to make sure that you do is to be in "Edit" mode when working with the module when you are logged in as host. These modes are found in the upper left corner of the page and sometimes we get in the view mode and changes won't take in that mode. If none of this is the answer also try to set up a test sample in www.betasprings.com and I can look at it there with you and we can figure something out. The login for betasprings.com is host, dnnhost.

My issue is with the Dynamic Forms module. One of the Completion Events I have created is a "Dynamic Email" that sends the form results to me. For clarity, other possible events are URL Redirection.
Everything works properly, but when I try to make a revision in the text/html editor to the body of the email, the changes never stick. I'm definitely in Edit mode. I'm very familiar with the module -- been using it for years. I'm trying to figure out if this glitch that I'm experiencing is a version issue or something on the server side is preventing the change.

    Ken,
I'm just throwing out a suggestion.
Do you see that exact same token you are trying to use on the list to the right of the EDITOR where it lists all available tokens?

Also, for kicks, have you tried replacing that token with another token that you know that works to see if that sticks?

Thanks for the suggestions Chuck. Nothing I change in the body of the email sticks. I ended up creating a new Email Event with the correct info and that works so I will just delete the bad Event. I guess I'll call this resolved. I don't think it was a module issue, but rather an issue overwriting the value in the database.

    Hi Ken,

Your Dynamic Forms 3.0.10 is about 2 years old and wasn't tested against DNN 5.4 which came out on 4/19/2010. I believe this is a conflict between the two and would recommend you upgrade to the most current version -- Dynamic Forms 3.4.

If you log into the same Snowcovered account your last order, you should see an automatic 10% discount when you upgrade.

    Thanks,
    Candace
