    I have set up my form (First Name, Last Name, Email, Status - simplified version of Demo 15) and checked that the completion events are working when Payment Gateway is disabled.

    I have set up my Sandbox and sucessfully processed transactions from my form (i.e. the transaction goes through, Sandbox emails are sent and I am redirected back to my website)

    Trouble is my completion events are not firing. My form displays no field values (i.e. First Name, Last Name, Email and Status are NULL).

    I have read through other forum posts and Candice's blog. All 5 points seem to be in order. Is there any further information available?

    Hi David,

    Let me ask a few questions here:

    1. Can you please check your Sandbox buyer and seller accounts? Sometimes the transaction is showing as pending, unclaimed or something which prevents PayPal from sending the completed status that the form is waiting for.

    2. In Admin, Event Viewer, you should be able to follow the progress of your transactions within the Debug Info logs. If you don't see anything, please log in as host and enable Debug Info (sometimes it only shows as a * and blank). Once enabled, please run a test again and send us the expanded Debug Info logs. If you prefer, you can send it to us via dnnsupport@datasprings.com as an attachment.

    3. Can you also please give us the exact module version and your DNN version?

    Hi Candice

    1. The transdactions are going through successfully the Sandbox account.

    2. I have enabled logging but get no record of the form submission (or errors) in the event log

    3. I am running DNN5.6.2 and DF3.4.5

    If I give you host access to the portal and my sandbox account would you be willing to take a look?

    1. your invoice ID
    2. the URL to the DF page
    3. the login credentials to the site
    4. the paypal sandbox login
    5. your test buyer account login
    6. your test seller account login.

    David,

    I ran into the same sort of issue. Mine turned out to be that the page that I was 'testing' was not publicly available on my website. To make this work, your form page needs to be publicly available.

    I ended up making the page available, but didn't put it into the menu structure. What was happening in my case:

    1) I posted and paid via PayPal
    2) When PayPal finishes, it will turn around and 'load' your form to send the reply. That reply is basically paypal visiting the page on your website. (Your example, paypal will 'Browse' to http://lovelearning.wowinteractive2...uleID=1149 which needs to be publicly available or it will not succeed.

    Don't know if that is what you are seeing, but this one took a while to figure out in my case.

    Thanks for the feedback.

    My return url is http://lovelearning.wowinteractive4...tabid=486, which is publicly available.

    NB. I'm guessing you picked up the old dev domain .wowinteractive2.co.za/default.aspx from my earlier post. In the interim we moved the portal to a new server (hence the change in dev domain to .wowinteractive4.co.za/default.aspx)
