nvarchar conversion not working?

    Hi, i have a very huge problem with dynamic forms. i searched the forum but couldn't find an answer, if there is one, sorry.

    i created a form, and as submission event, i created an sql insert statement.

    i have no problem about insert, it works fine. but even though table colums are "nvarchar", dynamic forms automatically converts turkish characters such as "ş" or "ğ" or "ı" to "s","g" or "i"

    i don't know why that happens.
    as i stated above, all fields are nvarchar and my db language is Latin1_General_CI_AS.

    And also, i tried it with other dnn modules from other companies but they didn't convert characters. They worked fine.

    Any ideas about this problem?

    Hi Zafer,

    A couple quick things for us to test...

    1. If you run that same SQL under host / SQL, do the queries work and store properly?

    2. If you use these characters in an email event, do they show up properly in the email?

    Hi again Chad,

    here is what i did after your post:

    1- i run the sql script from host/SQL tab and created the table again, after that i submitted a form but still no luck

    2- i created an "send email" event and it worked fine.
    it didn't convert the characters like sql insert did.

    so email - working fine, sql insert - still converting the characters.

    dynamic forms version: 4.0.12
    dnn version: 06.01.02 (98)

    Okay, i solved the problem myself

    in INSERT script in form completion events,

    i just put N before values like:

    N'string1'
    N'string2'
    and it worked like a charm.
