is it possible to retrieve querystring data to txt/html field?

    I am designing a 2 pages form. I am passing some data from form 1 on page 1 to form 2 on page 2. The passing part is okay, but on form 2, I have a text/html field and I like to retrieve data from URL querystring and place in this text/html field.

    Is it possible to do that?

    Hello Michael,

    Text/HTML fields can't collect from Querystring variables.

    Here's what I would recommend doing:

    * Add a hidden field, this hidden field will collect the Querystring value that you were hoping the Text/HTML question would collect.

    * Under Module Configuration -> Advanced Coding Options -> Custom JavaScript file -> Initial JavaScript assign the Hidden Field value to the Text/HTML value.

    Now you're wondering, how to do this???

    Well inside of you Text/HTML question, add a DIV or SPAN tag with a unique ID.

    Then inside of the initial JavaScript section, you can use JavaScript like the following(assuming the shortfield name of the hidden field is The_QString_Value and the DIV or SPAN tag ID in the Text/HTML question is "Text_HTML_ID")

    document.getElementById('Text_HTML_ID').innerHTML = $(The_QString_Value);
