    I have a drop down menu that I want to allow users to add an item if it is not available. I have checked the box next to: 
    Allow user ability to add item?:

    I am not able to add an item to the menu after doing this however.
    Is there something else I am missing?

    Hi Brett - The way that this is supposed to work is that if the user starts typing into the combo box it will turn into a textbox. Is this working for you?
