When using the Dynamic Email option in the Form Completion Events I do net see the option to set where the email should be from; thus I cannot send any outgoing emails as the system comes up with a red star whenever I try to complete the form.

Any ideas? Thank you for your time.

    Regards,

    Hi.

What version of Dynamic Forms are you running on? V2.1 should have the email from address (The latest release is 2.2). Ummm, if your release does not have the from address then the from address would any dynamic email event would be the portal settings administrator email address.

As far as the red star, this would probably be because you have client side validation or server side validation enabled and you have fields that are required and are not being completed.

I might not have the latest release; when I go to the Module Definitions section of my DotNetNuke installation the version is listed as (02.10.10). How can I get the latest version as this is the version available to me now from Snowcovered.com?

    Thank you for your assistance.

    Regards,

Thank you for your help with this. The problem was solved by upgrading to Dynamic Forms 2.2. There is another issue but I will create a separate thread on that.

When using the Dynamic Email option in the Form Completion Events I create a new event and Generate Results Template, it does create the table on the editor and it does let me edit the table but no matter the change i do to the table when i update event is not saving the table with the changes i did.
There is any other way to edit the table to ad a border and spacing to it?

Hi, try this instead. Before clicking on "Update Event" in your completion events, click on the "BasicText Box" radio button instead of the "Rich Text Editor" and then click on "Update Events". Another words, use the "Rich Text Editor" option to type in your info and switch over to the "Basic Text Box" to save your entry. This way, you can still have AJAX on in your module. The underlying problem is that when AJAX is enabled in the module, the information you enter in the Rich Text Editor will not save. See if this works for you. It always works for me. -- David
