    Hi
I have a registration form with google analytics script.
With each postback (from question events) the google analytics script is loading. Now I changed in the module definitions of DesktopModules/Dynamic Forms/Dynamic-Forms.ascx to "Partial rendering". The effect is, that the google analytics script is not loading on postback.

My question: Is it ok to set the "partial rendering" to yes and if yes, why is this not the default?

    Thanks for help

HI Hajo, based on my understanding of "Partial Rendering" which is used for AJAX control, all the controls by default are not set for "partial rendering".
" By default the Supports Partial Rendering flag is False for all controls. Only if the developer of the module explicitly sets the Supports Partial Rendering flag to True in their *.dnn installation manifest, or the Portal administrator checks the Supports Partial Rendering box, will it be wrapped by an Update Panel (and only if AJAX is installed). " I hope this answer your question.

HI Hajo, there are some fields in DF that may have issues with Partial Rendering in the current release. For now, it's best to leave Partial Rendering off. -- David
