I have strange issue regarding deploying  new webparts after site migration

i have created the backup of my site and imported in new server using stsadm.exe, the web parts that already existing were deployed successfully .  When i tried deploy a new web part i.e, i have placed the dll  in  bin folder and placed the safe control in web.config even then the web parts are not visible  in newdwp.aspx page , when i changed the existing web parts i got an error saying "web part not registered safe"

i would be glad if some one could give a solution to my problem

We have found a few things that might play a role in this...

1st. Even the slightlest changes sometimes to the SafeControl entries can make a big difference, make sure you are not missing a = or have an extra space somewhere.

2nd. Check the Trust level and you might try and see if they are the same between the working site and the not working site. To test you might also change the trust level. You can do this by editing the web.config. There is probably a setting like Trust = "WSS_Minimal" and you want to at least change it to Trust = "WSS_Medium". Our web parts require Trust = "WSS_Medium" however some you are developing yourself you might have to set them to full depending on how you are deploying them. The full setting is just Trust = "Full". I am not sure but I believe this setting is case sensitive as well.
