    So it seems that I have both parts of the puzzle but they don't seem to fit together. I can add a marquee to the content editor webpart and I can link to an uploaded text file and have it displayed in the content editor. The problem is, I cannot link to an external text file and have it marquee through the content editor. An alternative to this would be to format the content link, but I can't seem to do that either.

    Here is the marquee code I'm using:

    There are no system issues to report at this time.

    I would like to replace the "There are no system issues to report at this time" with the line of text from the file.
