    Has this patch been posted anywhere yet?  I noticed that the previous patch disappeared from my patch list at Snowcovered.

    Also, will there be a source package upgrade posted?

    Hi Rob,

    As far as I know, Opt In Email 4.1 was posted in Snowcovered in Patches and Hotfixes but there may be issues. Can you please copy/paste what you see in your snowcovered account and email it to me at dnnsupport@datasprings.com? Thanks!

    What was updated in 4.1.4? Only Opt In - Opt In Email has the newer version.

    Opt In - Advanced Email Send bulk email to the Opt In distribution lists. 04.10.00
    Opt In - Opt In Email Allow users the ability to maintain Opt In subscriptions and sign up for newsletters. 04.10.40
    Opt In - Previous Newsletters User facing module, Show previously sent Newsletters,Admin can set number of newsletter to view. 04.10.00

    Brian,

    Specifically the .40 patch addressed some stored procedures that needed patched for updating opt in lists, a bug with the tracking URL having an invalid character in it, an issue with multi-portal DNN installations where it wasn't checking the portalID and was always referencing portal ID 0 and also some distribution updates for test mode.

    In general, since there is only a single installation file we usually only update the installation version # one time. So there might be updates to all three modules even though the installation version only shows the .40 patch. We typically do this if there is only a single installation file.

    The newest patch I have available on Snowcovered is

    OptInEmail_40_DNN45PLUS_UNZIP_BEFORE_INSTALL.ZIP Opt In Email 4.0 Standard Edition w/ Source Opt In Email 4.00.10 Patch / Hot Fix.This patch fixes a number of issues with the initial 4.0 release, specifically that affect email campaigns, and other minor fixes and updates. read more 12/7/2008

     

    There was a newer one until a week or so ago, but that disappeared about the time you mentioned posting a new patch.

    I was just checking for updates and noticed this issue hasn't been resolved on Snowcovered.  I am still only seeing the old versions as listed in the above posts.

    Any update on the status on getting this resolved?

    Hi Rob,



    Sorry about that.  In the 04.10.60 patch, we added some features related to user's subscription time stamp to manage the user's grid.  That, unfortunately, created a bug in the reports by category so we only released the 04.10.60 patch to a few customers.  We are already in the middle of the 4.2 release which will have a fix for this new bug.  



    However, if you're not going to use the reports by category and need the other fixes mentioned in Chad's 6/17 post, please use the Contact Us form to request this patch.  Please include your Order ID and reference this thread's URL.  Thanks for your patience and your follow up.
