We have about 20 questions, and when we add a new one, it adds it to the top.  When it is needed to moved towards the bottom it takes a while to move.

It might be nice to have the option to have a drop down when adding a new item that says "Insert after question", or in the sort order when you select the question a drop down appears with the option to insert after question.

Another thought would be to have that sort box utiize AJax.

Just some thoughts.  This module is unbelieveably effective.  Thanks for it.

    Chris,

Hi. Thanks for your input. Yes, we are working on increasing performance and adding additional javascript/AJax within the module.

    A few comments:

You might check out the beta of Dynamic Forms v2.3.1. You can test this on the www.betasprings.com site logging in as host/dnnhost. Basically there are many new features that we are now also adding to the Dynamic Registration future release.

Specifically related to performance and sort order they are:

    * You can clone / copy fields
    * You can click a 'Pencil' edit icon next to each field to go in and modify the field/update the field quickly (instead of having to go to the manage questions/settings area etc...). We are also working to improve this with a quick 'toolbar' that can pop up if you click on a field label.
    * Question sort order now uses javascript/AJAX functionality to quickly sort fields
    * Whenever adding a new field from scratch, the system will default the sort order to the last field + 5. This will always add new fields to the end.
    * Whenever adding a new field from scratch, the system will default the short field name and help text based on the question label for you.
    * With Dynamic Question Events you will be able to select as many 'Affected Questions' by events as you would like. Before you had to choose one affected question per event

We will continue to add more enhancements for performance. Again you can check out these features already in the Dynamic Forms upcoming release but look for these soon in the next release of Dynamic Registration.

    Thanks,

    Chad

v2.3.1 is sounding great!  Is there an ETA for the release?

Hi. Documentation has just been completed and we are in the final phases of a few other fixes and enhancements. We plan to have a full release ready by Wed the 18th.
