    Hi,

    I installed Dyn.Reg 3 on my DNN 5 install. I have used all the basic fields for registration expect display name. Anyway i wanted a verification code sent to the users after they register. I dont have the user guide. so i am kinda lost on how to do this? Do i have to set verification to 'verfied' in site settings or am i going to do all the changes in dyn reg module itself. Chad can u please give me step by step instructions on how i can verify the the user using email.

    Also this is where i am at now. I have not touched the site settings. its still set to 'public'. I have created a completion event on intial registration only. The completion event to send a Email is set up like this.

    The Email to field is - $(Email)

    in the body i have

    $(VerificationCode)

    $(VerificationCodeLink)

    So now when i try to register , i dont get any mail with ver. code in it.

    What can i do?

    HI Amith, I believe you have to set User Registration to "Verified" under Admin / Site Settings. Also, in your email completion event, do you have an "Email From" assigned as well? Also, make sure your event is set for "Any Field Response" under Dynamic Field option. Lastly, check Admin / Event Viewer to see if you have any SMTP errors. I just set up a test scenario on my system with these exact conditions and received the email just fine. -- David
