    Hello again....

We have a custom profile field defined as "SortOrder" and it is an int.

However, the sort results appear incorrectly... such as

    1

    10

    1010

    2

    20

    2020

    3

    30

    3030

    etc

I read the earlier post about tweaking the stored procedure and using a null field to sort on - but, honestly, I don't think that is the best solution here.

Any other way to get the sort order working on an int field correctly?

HI Richard, right now, the sorting can only be done on character strings, so it's reading the value as a string and not an integer. Changing the stored procedure won't work. We will need to research the VB code and change the coding to treat certain DNN profile fields as an "integer" type if it's set as such. I believe the sorting at the moment is done on a gridview type of sorting which treats everything as character strings. -- David
