    Hi David,

    I have a situation here to redirect the users to Paypal or local pages based on the "Payment Type" selected (via a combobox):

    I deliberrately did not enable PayPal for this maion form because, regardless of the "Payment Type", it always goes to PayPal. But I want to redirect  users to a local DNN page if they select "Pay by Check" as the paymwnt type.

    Though I have a completion event that should redirect to a local page if the select "Pay by Check", it is always going to PayPal.

    Is there a way to prevent it? In other words, can we give priority to "page redirect" event rather than going to PayPal?

    Thanks,

    Vijay

    Yes, can be done with javascript.
    1) create a textbox field called EnablePGateway
    2) in your combobox client side event and module configuration initial javascript page load:

    if ($(PaymentType) == 'Pay by Check') {
    $(EnablePGateway) = 'False';}
    else {$EnablePGateway) = 'True';}

    If this javascript works, then you can change EnablePGateway to a Hidden Field afterwards. -- David

    Hi Vijay,

    As an alternative, you can also use the PGateway feature that's built in to Dynamic Forms which allows you to use PayPal, Authorize.net or Pay by Check.  The field for 'Payment Type' just needs to have the short field name 'PGateway'  and the option values of your choices need to correspond to the correct gateway.  For pay by check, they can use Check Pay, Pay by Check or anything else (since this is not a real gateway).

    Please see Demo 18 in our Demonstrations where this is discussed in more detail.  Let us know if you have additional questions.  Thanks!
