    Hi,

I have been working with combo boxes in my product form. I am able to select a product within a combo box and its price is displayed in the textbox. My problem is that I have two different prices associated with each product and I want the second price to display on another textbox simultaneously.

    I'll really appreciate your responce.

    Thank you in advance!

I have found the solution to my problem. I viewed the source of the form and I copied the id in the combo box which was generated by the DNN. I used this id in the document.getElementById code and it worked.

Now, the new problem which I'm experiencing is that; DNN automatically uses the onClick even for my combo box and I want to use onChange. Is there a way that I can achieve this? I also tried to view the source of the page but I couldn't.

    Please help!

Since you can only store one value in a combobox, you could write client side javascript to populate the 2nd textbox field depending on which option they choose from the combobox. -- David

Thank you David, I have done that and it is working. My problem now is editing the javascript. When I create a combo box, DNN automatically uses the onclick even which makes it behave like a button. I want to change it to onChange event. Is there a way that I can do this?

Well, do you have a question event tied to this combobox to make it perform a postback (page refresh)? -- David
