Ugh... frustrated already because I have a checkbox group that is created dynamically (via a sql query) and I can't for the life of me get the column span thing to work right... blargh (please, don't post with links to demos, i've tried them all and all settings like demo 19 and 8)
This post wants to know if a dynamically generated checkbox group can have the default values checked?
I'm using a mixture of things, but particularly Demo 14... so I have the Report Module producing a list of previously entered form values with an edit button.
However, I can not get the checkbox group responses checked on the SQL result.
Form Fields:
Text: Firstname
Text: LastName
Text: Credentials
Text: PartnerID
ComboBox: Specialty {Dynamically Generated with number values}
CheckBox Group: Measures {Dynamically Generated with number values}
SQL Query Results have all of the above, results are similar to what the below would return
select 'first name' as Firstname, 'last name' as Lastname, 'PhD' as Credentials, '1234565' as PartnerID, '22' as Specialty, '1, 2, 3' as Measures
All of the text fields and combo box work fine - but the CheckBox Group defaults aren't check.
This is driving me nuts!
Not to mention, I had to create a UDF to build the comma delimited results for the measures field, and then - to make it even more fun, had to make a stored procedure locally because I am actually working via data from a linked server - oh fun! haha...
