    Hi, i am still having problems getting validation reports working properly. If i have server side set, then not all fields i have set as required show in the summary or highlighted in the form which is strange, if i have client side set then it works, but the Captcha field will only work if Server side is selected.

    I've created a form on betasprings called "koolworlds form". It has a dropdown with an event attached to it and also a standard input. I can't seem to get validation working correctly whichever combination of server/client side i choose, either one or the other works but never both. I want an asterix to appear next to the field and also have text appear in the summary. Can you take a look and let me know what am I doing wrong?

    Hi, have you had time to check out the issues i have above? Am keen to get these resolved in some way as it's on a site which is waiting to go live.

    Hi. Check out the form again. A few things, first you only have validation set for the second input box right? Also, there are two properties you can specify. Both the text and the actual error. I change this to be * instead of the same error message and it appears to be working now. I believe though that these might be switched out when client validation is turned on. I am checking into this (in other words the error and the text might be reversed). If this is the case it would be a bug and we will look into it. Right now though if you try and submit it you will see the error summary above and a * next to the field.

    Thanks for getting back to me. I had in fact set validation on the first drop-down field, but it doesn't seem to work. Your point about the error text being swapped is also true.

    If i set the form to use server side only, then it almost works as in it shows the error for the dropdown in the summary but doesn't mark the field, and also the textbox below then doesn't validate.

    Could you take another look and let me know if there's anything i've set wrong with the drop-down validation?
