    hello,

     

    I am using laterst version of dynamic forms module to create custom forms on dnn portal.

     

    when i go to edit or to add any new field and click update setting and exit. i get following javascript error as-

    Sandeep, I think that the problem is related to 'different' jQuery versions within Dynamic Forms and DNN. A quick search for initWidgets.js sounds like this is happening with a few different modules because of a conflict between jQuery versions.


    1. Make sure you are on 3.1 of Dynamic Forms with the latest patch which is current 3.1.13 I believe. The 3.3 release will be posted early next week and will offer full support for DNN 5.2.x and above. There are a few minor known issues mostly related to jQuery and AJAX that will require this version or require you to change out the jQuery.min.js file under desktopmodules\dynamic forms\js.

    2. Does this change if you go to module configuration and choose to 'Disable jQuery'? This could end up fixing your issue. What about if you go to host/module definitions

    3. What settings do you have for jQuery under host, host settings, related to jQuery being enabled?
